Where to shop in Dili, Timor Leste
A worry is normal when someone decide to more to new developing country, like Timor Leste. But, you do not need to worry that much because there are some supermarkets where you can do your grocery shopping. Here are some places that I could mentions: a. W-Four Supermarket b. Lita Store c. Centro Supermarket d. Pateo Supermarket e. Kemanek Supermarket W-Four Supermarket, Lita Supermarket and Kemanek Supermarkets usually offer competitive prices for their products, mostly those which are expired in month. Make sure you check the expired date before you buy it. Pateo Supermarket and Centro Supermarket are the expensive one because most of the product are imported from Portugal and they sell fresh meat. I observe that more foreigners shop at Pateo Supermarket compared to others. You can find easily any supermarket other than those mentioned above.
