Learning Effectively
What people said about learning effectively is not about effective of time but when learners feel comfortable, relaxed and able to concentrate. Learners need to know the best environment that works for them. That is one of the factors in learning effectively and some more are comfortably seated, able to listen without distraction, relaxed and focus, and conducive environment. Every people have their best place and way to learn. For me, it is a quite place and I learn better when I use my hands. What about you?
In short, it is like:1. Feel comfortable (place, sound, environment)
2. Know your learning styles
3. Use the right format of learning sources (videos, paper)
4. Practice and test yourself (discussion, ask questions)
Learning from Video
Some students may record the lectures because they can replay that as many as they wish until they understand the materials. Som of them use VLE (virtual learning environment) but others use Dropbox, Google Docs, Google Scholar, Web of Science and wiki.
Students are more preferred to discuss topics in a seminar as their method of learning.
