3. international standardized tests widely used in Indonesia

4. no official policy and legal position of English as Medium of Instruction (EMI)

5. varied English language test score requirement and kinds of test used in university


Adopt, Adapt or Create Language Framework?

2. Adoption of CEFR is simplistic solution

Solutions for Indonesia: Adaptation of CEFR and new framework


Challenges:

1. needs substantial research and strategic planning 

2. needs cooperation

3. individual resistance

4. may cause difficulties for ELT practitioners in Indonesia
