Memoir: A Poem
In quiet corners of my mind,
Where echoes of laughter used to play,
I wander through memories intertwined,
Searching for words I wish to say.
Once, a voice close, a heartbeat near,
We shared the days, the dreams, the fears.
Now silence lingers, yet I persevere,
Embracing solitude through the years.
In moments alone, I learn to breathe,
Finding strength in whispers of the past.
Though once I sought to weave and seethe,
I cherish the peace that solitude casts.
So here I stand, with open heart,
Sharing my stories, unafraid to feel.
For even alone, I’m a work of art,
In the canvas of life, I begin to heal
